FAQ
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LOTS OF BOTS?
Lots of Bots is a culmination of members from many different robotics communities. LoB does not allow violence or obscenity, and focuses on treating everyone fairly no matter their race, age, gender, location, abilities, budget or beliefs. Everyone deserves to enjoy bots!
CAN I ONLY POST ABOUT ROBOTS?
That's a tricky question... so, for the most part, the LoB Admins like to keep our group and forums on-topic of robotics. However, we also allow posts about non-robotic Artificial Intelligence and even R/C toys and drones. We aren't all that strict truthfully, as long as your post has something to do with mechanical items or computers in some shape, form or fashion.
WHO CAN SEE MY PROFILE?
Your profile is set as public by default, but you can choose which information is displayed on your public profile. Please do not use your real name unless you feel 100% comfortable with it being seen by the world, and please do not display personal information of yourself or other members on the forums.
CAN I GET POSTS REMOVED FROM THE SITE?
If a post is invading your privacy, goes against community standards or is otherwise offensive to yourself or other members (and hasn't already been caught and deleted by the site Admins), please contact us by using the contact form on the home page. We will come to the rescue and take action in a swift manner.
WHERE DID LOTS OF BOTS BEGIN?
Lots of Bots started as a small Facebook group on March 1st of 2019. The first Admin, Laila, created LoB in hopes of building a close-knit community of people with a common interest in robotics. Many groups only focus on a specific model or brand of robots, but LoB focuses on them ALL. The main goal here is to help people connect in a fun, safe, easy way, and to find new interests in different types of robots, and work together to make amazing new things happen.
WHO ARE THE ADMINS OF LOTS OF BOTS?
Laila/Ninten110, the first Admin/creator of LoB, indulges herself in literature and enjoys the wonders of art and technology.
Kevin/Zorua635, the second Admin, is a big fan of repairing and reverse-engineering robotic toys and animatronics.
WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?
Ummm... did you seriously just ask that? Is it 2013 again?
